Remember the Dino Crisis fan remake we reported a while back? Well, good news everyone as the team is still working on it (in other words, it has not received any C&D letter). Not only that, but Team Arklay has released a new video, showcasing the in-game 3D models for Regina and the raptors.
This is a truly amazing video as it succeeds into building tension. The video starts by giving us a look at the recreated environment from the perspective of a rat. We then hear a gunshot and the death screams of a raptor. The rat goes closer to the dead dinosaur, revealing its in-game 3D model. It then climbs it and gives us a look at our protagonist, Regina.
The team claims that it is currently working to upload more content of the project. Not only that, but it plans to release the first gameplay footage soon. Naturally, we’ll be sure to share it with you the moment it goes live.
Now I do have to say that I’m really looking forward to a tech demo of what the team has built. I’m almost certain that Team Arklay won’t be able to finish/complete this massive project. As such, a simple demo (with some gameplay elements) would be awesome. Seriously, that’s what most Dino Crisis fans would love from this project; to actually play/experience this fan remake, even in its unfinished state.
For what it’s worth, Team Arklay has not revealed yet whether it plans to release a demo of its Dino Crisis Remake to the public. Still, the team has made an excellent work so far so here is hoping that it will keep working on it.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
