Kalypso Media has just released the official Gamescom 2024 gameplay trailer for Commandos: Origins. This trailer features gameplay footage from the game’s latest alpha build. As such, it may not reflect the quality of the final product. Still, it will give you a glimpse at what the devs are working on.
In Commandos: Origins, you will play as Jack O’Hara (The Green Beret) and Francis T. Woolridge (The Sniper). Players will guide this special Commandos team through real places from World War II. Moreover, they will face exciting challenges in different places. For example, you might sneak into enemy bases in the freezing Arctic, fight up close on a German submarine at night, or trek through the hot sands of the African Desert.
As said, the game will take you back to World War II, where the original characters come together to create the famous Commandos team. Players will lead the charge, using strength and strategy to defeat enemy soldiers.
Commandos: Origins promises to offer an exciting story with more than 10 missions full of tough challenges and sneaky gameplay. The game world will be detailed and diverse, letting you try out different strategies. You can sneak, climb, drive vehicles, or use stealth tactics to complete missions your own way.
Kalypso Media plans to release this new Commandos game on PC later this year.
