Ghostrunner is the upcoming first-person slasher by One More Level and 3D Realms. A demo of the game is available through Steam since May 6th. The demo recently received a major update that changed and added several things.
One More Level is a polish developer who’s working on Ghostrunner in collaboration with 3D Realms. The title is using the Unreal Engine 4, and supports the RTX technology from Nvidia. The game is scheduled to be released in the end of this month.
Ghostrunner looks like a mix of major titles such as Dishonored, Mirror’s Edge, and Superhot. However, the heavy cyberpunk theme of the game is what makes it different. Also, just like Superhot, the game is far from easy.
The game director and the lead animator of Ghostrunner sat down, and watched a speedrun of the demo. It’s very amusing listening to the developers getting surprised by the speedrunner’s gameplay. Most likely the developers will fix several things they thought were impossible before watching the speedrun.
Below you can watch the developers of Ghostrunner react to the demo speedrun.
Enjoy!
