Grinding Gear Games has released a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming action RPG, Path of Exile 2, at ExileCon 2023. This new trailer showcases the game’s amazing graphics, and we highly recommend watching it.
Grinding Gear has also revealed that Path of Exile 2 will no longer be an expansion to Path of Exile 1. Instead, Path of Exile 2 will be a new standalone game, with separate game balance, systems and future expansions. Moreover, your purchases will still be shared between both games.
Path of Exile 2 will feature a massively improved engine for graphics & physics. Furthermore, the game will have 19 new ascendancy classes. These characters are a new set of Exiles who fall into the same class archetypes as those in the original game.
For what it’s worth, there is still no ETA on when this game will come out. However, we’re almost certain that it will follow the free-to-play model of its predecessor.
It will be interesting to see how Path of Exile 2 will fare against Diablo 4. Both of them are successful action hack n slash RPGs, and both of them have their dedicated fans.
Enjoy this latest gameplay trailer for Path of Exile 2 and stay tuned for more!
