PolyDream Studio has shared the first pre-alpha gameplay trailer for its upcoming FPS, Project: White Desert. This new first-person shooter aims to blend stealth, action, and puzzle-solving, and targets a 2026 release date.
Yes, you read that right. Project: White Desert targets a 2026 release date. That’s two years from now. So, this first gameplay does not, in any way, reflect the quality of the final product. Still, it can give us a small idea of what this team aims to create.
For a double-A game, Project: White Desert looks actually interesting. This trailer shows some cool wind effects, and the gunplay mechanics seem pretty solid. There might also be some environmental destruction. Or at least that’s what the trailer hints at.
Here’s the game’s description.
“In “White Desert,” players will delve into a narrative-driven experience like no other, immersing themselves in a virtual realm teeming with intrigue and danger. Witness the evolution of gaming as you navigate through stunning environments and face off against formidable adversaries.”
And that’s all. PolyDream Studio appears to be a small team, so don’t expect this to rival the big boys. Still, it seems kind of cool so go ahead and take a look!
