Last week, we informed you about Quake being recreated in Unreal Engine 4. And UE4Arch has released a teaser video, showcasing the classic first level of Quake 1 in Unreal Engine 4.
As UE4Arch noted, this is a fan project that it is working in its free time, and there are no commercial plans so far. Hell, we don’t even know whether the studio will release this map for free (so that everyone can enjoy it) or not.
We also don’t know whether the team will recreate other iconic maps from the first Quake in Unreal Engine 4.
Still, it’s really cool so be sure to watch the video!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
