Gamespot has shared a new video in which it compares the original version of Resident Evil 3 with its upcoming remake. This video will give you an idea of the graphical improvements that you can expect from it.
As we can see, the 3D character models look way better in the remake. Okay okay, this is obvious as the original version of Resident Evil 3 came out in 1999. Still, it’s really cool witnessing how much the video-game industry has progressed in 21 years.
This comparison video also shows the gameplay differences between these two games. While the first one used fixed camera angles and tank controls, the remake uses a third-person viewpoint. Thus, it’s way easier to control Jill and explore the game’s environments.
Back in December 2019, we also shared another comparison video between the original and the remake versions. Thus, I also suggest watching that one too.
Resident Evil 3 Remake releases on April 3rd.
Enjoy!

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
