Konami has released a cinematic story trailer for Silent Hill: Ascension. Silent Hill: Ascension is a Silent Hill spin-off that is developed by Genvid Technologies, Bad Robot Games, Behaviour Interactive, and DJ2 Entertainment.
Going into more details, Silent Hill: Ascension is a massively interactive live event (MILE) in which the worldwide audience determines the course of the story and its characters as the series unfolds.
The story of Silent Hill: Ascension will be told through hours of video game cutscenes, with a release schedule for audience members to experience and a strong emphasis on exploring new sides of the Silent Hill mythos.
Each day an episode airs, the player will be able to login to certain story events, puzzles, and decisions available for a limited time. The player can revisit the game after it airs, but the canonical outcomes remain final and the episode is viewable via an archive. Audience members who do not wish to participate can watch the story progress and chat with the community.
So, basically, this isn’t a traditional single-player game.
Enjoy!
