GFA Games has shared a gameplay overview trailer for its upcoming shooter that is visually inspired by the STALKER and Metro series, PIONER. This trailer will give you an idea of what you can expect from this new PC shooter. So, be sure to watch it.
In PIONER, your main goal is survival and exploration of a dangerous PVE and PVP world. According to the game’s description, the developers will pay special attention to the events, factions and quests in which players will take part.
Players will be able to team up with other adventurers and act as a group. As such, they will be able to explore anomalies, confront hunters from other factions and run special missions. Additionally, players will be able to build outposts, improve their equipment, and establish trade routes.
Now what’s great here is that the game’s starting area will be an adventure game with minimum MMO elements. This mode will appeal to all Metro and STALKER fans. It will also allow players to play and complete quests in solo mode.
I now hope that this adventure mode will have a compelling story. That and its quests won’t be boring fetch quests. I don’t expect quests that will blow my mind, but let’s hope that they will be above average. Oh, and from this trailer, it appears that the gunplay mechanics will be solid.
From what we know so far, GFA Games plans to release PIONER in 2024.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
