Nightdive Studios has released a brand new gameplay video for System Shock Remake, showcasing its final art. The remake looks absolutely gorgeous in this latest gameplay video and we are pretty sure that all System Shock fans will love it.
Unfortunately, it appears that the game won’t have the retro-pixely option that its Unity demo featured. The game will be using Unreal Engine 4 and from the looks of it, the developers have nailed its atmosphere and visuals.
As we’ve already stated, System Shock will be a proper remake/remaster of the first System Shock game. Instead of remaking and altering its gameplay mechanics, Nightdive Studios will offer players what they’ve always wanted; a high quality game that adheres closely to the vision of the original System Shock.
In its next gameplay video, Nightdive Studios will showcase the game’s combat mechanics. Until then though, you can enjoy the following video!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
