Surgical Scalpels has shared a new video, showcasing the real-time ray tracing effects of Boundary. From what we can see, the team has used RTX in order to enhance the game’s reflections.
As the team noted, this is a WIP video and does not represent the quality of the final product. In other words, the game may feature better – or worse – RTX effects. Moreover, the team did not reveal the performance hit that these effects bring to the table.
Boundary is a multiplayer tactical space-based shooter that puts players in the role of a heavily armed astronauts in space engaging in fierce zero gravity firefights. The game will feature fully customizable loadouts, weapons and ammo types across 6 classes of Astronaut for players to choose from in multiple game modes.
Surgical Scalpels plans to release Boundary later this year on the PC.
Enjoy!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
