YouTube’s ‘ElAnalistaDeBits’ has shared a comparison video between the original and the Unreal Engine 5 fan remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
This video will give you an idea of the graphical improvements that CryZENx’s remake brought to the table. The video compares everything, from lighting to world environments and enemy models. This is an eye-opener, especially for those who have criticized this project.
In my opinion, this is one of the best UE5 projects out there. The fact that it also has proper gameplay mechanics is the cherry at the top. And, to be honest, I’m really surprised that Nintendo hasn’t taken it down. Truth be told, this isn’t a full-fledged remake. However, we’ve seen the big N taking down less ambitious fan games/projects than this.
Anyway, earlier this month, CryZENx released a new demo for this fan remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in Unreal Engine 5. This new demo focuses on Mountain Trail, and those interested can go ahead and download it from here.
Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, I also suggest taking a look at these other fan remakes. For instance, we have these faithful remasters of Dark Souls and Dark Souls 3. Then we have this amazing fan remake of STALKER. Let’s also not forget this Grand Theft Auto 6 fan concept in UE5. Last week, we also shared fan remasters World of Warcraft and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. And lastly, you can find fan remakes of Death Stranding, Final Fantasy 9, Fallout 4, ARK: Survival Ascended, Fallout 4, Resident Evil’s Spencer Mansion and Skyrim’s Whiterun. All of them are cool, so make sure to watch them.
Enjoy this comparison video between the original Nintendo 64 version and the Unreal Engine 5 Remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and stay tuned for more!
