YouTube’s ‘NoBigDeal La’ has shared a couple of videos, showcasing The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom running at native 4K with over 60fps on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090.
Now the good news here is that both the Nintendo Switch emulators Yuzu and Ryujinx can run the game. Moreover, it appears that overall performance is similar between them.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom came out on May 12th and was playable on these Nintendo Switch emulators on launch day. No scratch that. It was playable even before that.
So, after almost a month, the game now looks and performs incredibly well on PC. It’s funny really, but Tears of the Kingdom appears to be fully enjoyable on PC. After all, PC gamers can enjoy the game at native 4K and with higher framerates than what Nintendo Switch currently offers.
Speaking of this new Zelda game, I also suggest downloading this first-person mod for it. Created by ‘trevix’, this mod allows you to play Tears of the Kingdom with a first-person perspective.
Enjoy!
