Mecha fans, here is something for you today. Microids has released a new gameplay trailer for UFO Robot Grendizer – The Feast of the Wolves.
UFO Robot Grendizer: The Feast of the Wolves will follow the first story arc of the anime series. As such, the game will give players the chance to revisit the most iconic moments of this epic adventure. Furthermore, the game will feature the memorable musical themes from the anime, re-orchestrated for an even more immersive experience.
I seriously like everything I saw in this gameplay trailer. Yes, the game is janky but it looks fun. And that’s what I want from my mecha games, to have some fun. However, I have to say that the sound effects are a bit “too cheap“, making it sound like a mobile game. That’s my only complain with this trailer. I’m also not fond with the English voices but the game will support Japanese voices (so I’ll immediately switch to them).
UFO Robot Grendizer – The Feast of the Wolves is a love letter to all Grendizer fans. If you are one of them, you’ll love what you’re about to see. If you are not, well… this trailer won’t make you suddenly fall in love with it.
Microids plans to release this Grendizer game on November 14th.
Enjoy!
