Game Science has released an official WeGame Event gameplay trailer for its upcoming third-person action game, Black Myth: WuKong. This short but sweet trailer packs one and a half minutes of brand new gameplay footage from it.
Black Myth: WuKong is a third-person game that is based on Journey to the West, and will focus on the Monkey King and his special abilities. Additionally, the game will offer players 72 different abilities to use.
The game promises to have a diverse cast of adversaries, each with unique strengths. As the Destined One, aside from mastering various staff techniques, you can also freely combine different spells, abilities, weapons, and equipment to find the winning formula that best suits your combat style.
Two months ago, NVIDIA revealed that the game will support full Ray Tracing on the PC. As such, PC gamers can expect ray-traced Global Illumination, Shadows and Reflections. Moreover, the game will support both NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction.
For those unaware, DLSS 3.5 Ray Reconstruction can minimize the noise artifacts/issues of the ray-traced effects. It’s basically a better and more efficient RT denoiser. And, contrary to Frame Generation, all of the RTX series GPUs support it.
This is one of the most impressive UE5 games, so we are really interested in it. Will it be optimized for the PC? And what hardware will it require for smooth framerates?
Game Science will release Black Myth: Wukong on August 20th. However, the devs haven’t yet shared the game’s official PC system requirements. As soon as they do, though, we’ll be sure to inform you.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
