Secret Mode has announced that the Unreal Engine 5-powered first-person narrative horror game from The Chinese Room, Still Wakes the Deep, will be released on June 18th. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has also shared a new trailer that you can find below.
In this game, players will assume the role an off-shore oil rig worker. Players will fight for their lives through a vicious storm, perilous surroundings, and the dark, freezing North Sea waters.
Players will search for their crew and help them survive if they can. You’ll be able to run, climb, and swim through the flooding corridors and storm-lashed outer decks. Moreover, you will face a terrifying, unrelenting foe.
As said, Still Wakes the Deep is powered by Unreal Engine 5. And, as you can see, it looks absolutely incredible. This game immediately wow-ed me the moment it was announced with its graphics. And, thankfully, it has not been downgraded.
For what it’s worth, Secret Mode hasn’t revealed yet the game’s official PC system requirements. We also don’t know whether it will support NVIDIA’s DLSS or AMD’s FSR techs.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
