Electronic Arts and Ascendant Studios have released a new 4-minute gameplay trailer for Immortals of Aveum. This trailer delves into the game’s spellbinding first-person combat via which players can master all three colors of magic to suit how they want to play.
Immortals of Aveum is a single-player magic FPS, powered by Unreal Engine 5. In this game, players will experience this visceral and cinematic, story-driven game through the eyes of Jak.
This trailer gives us a glimpse at how players can customize their spellcasting with 25 unique spells, over 80 talents, and hundreds of pieces of magical gear.
Immortals of Aveum will be one of the first games that will take advantage of UE5’s Nanite and Lumen. And, as we’ve already reported, its PC requirements appear to be quite high.
For what it’s worth, the environments showcased in this latest gameplay trailer look actually stunning. I don’t know if this is due to the fewer visual artifacts, but contrary to its previous gameplay trailers, Immortals of Aveum now looks great.
EA was originally planning to release this game on July 20th. However, the game has been slightly delayed until August 22nd.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
